Notice is hereby given that on December 5, 2022 at 6 p.m. a Caucus of the Old Independent Party and People’s Party in the Village of Gifford, Champaign County, Illinois will be held at the Gifford Village Building, Rte. 136 Gifford, IL. For the purpose of nominating candidates for the office of Mayor, Village Clerk and 3 Trustee positions.

The water tower will be offline for maintenance from July 18-25.
Please conserve water during this period and expect lower than normal water pressure.
We will let everyone know when the water tower is back up and all water use can return to normal.

The Village of Gifford has an opening for a laborer position under the supervision of the water/sewer superintendent.
Applications are due in by May 16th. Please put complete applications in the water bill drop box at the village building.
The Village of Gifford now offers direct debit payments for your water and sewer bills. The service is free! You will continue to receive your monthly bill as usual, however if you have signed up for direct debit payments, your bill will indicate “direct debit” and the balance will be automatically deducted from your bank account every billing cycle on the 10th of the month.

The annual water quality report for the period of January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 is available for Gifford residents to view online.
The report is intended to provide you with important information about your drinking water and the efforts made by the water system to provide safe drinking water.
