Register online to bring TVs and Electronics Items to the May 18 Residential Electronics Collection

  • Two Residential Electronics Collection (REC) events will take place at Parkland College this year, on May 18, 2019 and October 12, 2019.
  • Gifford residents are eligible to participate.
  • Residents must advance register online at http://ecycle.simplybook.me. At this website, residents will select an available 15-minute timeslot during which they plan to arrive at the REC event.

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hours

The hours for trick-or-treating in Gifford are 6-8 p.m. on 10/31.

Champaign County Residential Electronics Collection

The next Residential Electronics Collection event will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Parkland College. The online registration is now open! To participate, Gifford residents must register online in advance. To register online and for more event details, visit the online registration: http://ecycle.simplybook.me/.

At the Residential Electronics Collection, there will be a two-TV limit per person. All sizes, types, and models of TV’s will be accepted from residents, including CRT tube TV’s. There is a 10-item total limit. Click here to view the accepted & non-accepted items.

Champaign County Electronic Recycling

Champaign County will be holding a residential electronics collection event on Saturday October 14, 2017. The event will take place from 8am-12pm at Parkland College, 2400 West Bradley Avenue in Champaign, Illinois. Residents MUST register online in advance: ecycle.simplybook.me. You can also view the event flyer with additional details on what items are accepted.

Reminder: Dump Day

Saturday June 17th the Village will be hosting a dump day. Please take this opportunity to clean up and keep Gifford looking great! Dump day will take place, rain or shine.

Dump day will take place by the Village storage garage from 8am until Noon and will cost $10 per dump. We will also have a dumpster for metal recyclables.

Items that are NOT permitted: computers, TVs, yard waste, tires, and construction debris.
